On February 19, 2013 we had a gym class in the weight room. We were told to pick a personal goal for P.E and do a handful of exercises that show us achieving that goal. My goal was to lose weight. So I searched on some websites and they said cardio was a great way to lose weight. Also another benefit was to gain speed and stamina. So it is a double win situation. But that is besides the point. The exercises that I did during gym class were:
-Tredmil
-Bike
-Rowing machine
-Elliptical trainer
-Jump rope
-Stairs
I think if I continue to do some of these exercises at home or when I have free time, I think I will be able to reach my goal in no time!
Thx Shawn!! I encourage to look at some strength exercises as well. When you build some muscle density and mass you actually raise your basal metabolic rate (how many calories you burn just sitting) which will help you lose weight even when you aren't running!! :) Plus it shapes your body keeping weight in the shoulders instead of the waist. Think "Insanity" type exercises.
